From the team who brought us Red Hook and Public, Coppa Spuntino is all about Italian food and booze, done simply but well. ‘Coppa,’ in case your wondering, is Italian for a type of cured pork, while ‘spuntino’ means snack, and both together should get you more than a little excited.
No matter the time of day you stop by, it’s always a good time for an apertivo, especially with rich cold cuts of pork, goose liver parfait and stuffed baby squid. After 5pm (or before, no judgement), pair it with a wine from their extensive list. But it’s not all about pizzas and pastas, dessert is a must have, whether it be the spiced ricotta and pear cannoli or the rosemary panna cotta. Bellissimo!
