It’s not just about the food offering at this new dining spot. Taking over and completely reinventing the space previously occupied by Peel Street Kitchen, Peel Street Grill and Cellar pride themselves on their boutique cellar set up, offering a vast selection of specialized wines and tap beers. You can pair them with gourmet feeds in the bistro, nab a seat by the bar and match them to charcuterie or just take a bottle home to the couch.
Of course, their namesake – the grill – is where the real party starts, with offerings like a grass fed Cape Grim rib on the bone, or Darling Downs petit eye fillet. Sink your teeth into a mouth watering 350g Rangers Valley rump and choose between a side of sautéed kipfler potatoes with spinach and bacon (SOLD!) or fries with roast mushrooms and confit tomatoes. And, if a glass of wine wasn’t enough (because one never is), top it all off with a house made red wine jus.
