If you think Brisbane’s eating scene has been up to its eyeballs in burgers and chicken wings, you’re in for a real treat at The Wolfe. With a focus on contemporary Australian fare, The Wolfe offers a menu that changes every four weeks, reflecting what produce is fresh and in season. And for the green thumbs among us, there’s even plans for an organic vegetable garden to be integrated into the outdoor area, which means when they say ‘fresh’ and ‘local’ – you know they’re legit.
Expect to be tempted by tantalising entrees such as cured ocean trout with spiced pastry, crème fraiche and caviar, and hearty mains such as the Black Angus with charcoal mushrooms and anchovy and chilli butter (can you say food baby?). At the bar, you’ll find an extensive list of local and international wines, along with some very creative cocktails.
