G&G EASTER COCKTAIL HUNT

Mum might be saying we’re too old for Easter egg hunts, but we beg to disagree. We’ve decided to step it up a notch this year and add booze to our sweet treats. Join the G&G as we dig up the best dessert inspired cocktails around town, but ditch the car keys and maybe cancel work tomorrow – you’re going to need an Uber for this one.

RAPPERS DELIGHT | CANVAS | WOOLLOONGABBA

We’ve Canvased the joint and this is up there with the best. White cacao infused Goslings Rum, Amaro Montenegro, Pomegranate, Raspberries, maple syrup and a macadamia nut foam – the Rappers Delight cocktail is one Easter treat we hope the Easter Bunny delivers!

MINT SLICE DREAM | VICTORIA PARK | HERSTON

Sweet creamy Baileys blended with Fernet Branca liqueur served with flaked Easter Eggs (not in a shoe) is our kind of Mint Slice Dream. Accompany it with chili chocolate rotisserie chicken from Victoria Park’s Easter Chocolate Menu and try not to slip into a sugar coma.

NUTELLA ESPRESSO MARTINI | CORBETT & CLAUDE | VARIOUS LOCATIONS

Just when you thought Espresso Martinis were on their way out, hold the phone – it’s time for your caffeine addiction to reach new heights because Corbett & Claude are turning it up to 11. Vodka, Frangelico, espresso, NUTELLA (!!!) and crushed hazelnuts. You’d be certified nuts not to try it.

ROCKY ROAD | COWCH | SOUTH BRISBANE

Why eat Rocky Road when you can just DRINK IT? Calories don’t count this way right? Either way, we’re getting around this seriously insta-worthy cocktail from Cowch. Chocolate and vanilla liqueur, Frangelico, maraschino cherry with whipped cream, chocolate flakes, marshmallow and peanuts. Rocky Road our world!

THE POPCORNTINI | PONY DINING | EAGLE STREET

All that chocolate got you craving something salty? Gallop into Pony dining and get your hooves around a Popcorntini. With Pampero Blanco white run, Kahlua, popcorn syrup, salted caramel, fresh espresso and popcorn (duh), this cocktail will shake things up.
