Move over Disneyland and Harry Potter World, because a new kind of theme park is coming, and it’s one where you definitely don’t want to go on a roller coaster.
Eataly World is set to be 10,000 square metres dedicated to pasta, cheese, Aperol spritz and Nutella. The only catch? You’ll have to plan a trip to Bologna, Italy to visit. But worth it for bulk Italian food, right?
A $106 million project from Eataly, the Italian food mega-store you’ll find in just about every corner of the world, the theme park isn’t just going to be all about the 25 restaurants and food stalls located there, it will also be the spot to take in workshops, get up close and personal with cows, pigs and sheep, and wander through orchards overflowing with at least 30 kinds of produce.
But when you’ve had enough of exploring (including checking out the virtual reality ‘rides’), you can eat your fill of cheese, pizza, pasta, meat, cheese wheel pasta and top it off with a drink from one of the three bars.
The park doesn’t open until September, but that just leaves you plenty of time to start saving those pennies for a trip to Italy, right? Find out more and start planning your itinerary on the Eataly World website.
